Michael E. Kar is an Associate (pending admission to the bar) in gartner + bloom PC’s New York City Office, where he specializes in general corporate law, commercial litigation, and matrimonial law.
Mr. Kar earned his Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2017, where he was a Jacob Burns Medal recipient, and earned his Bachelor of Arts from Colorado State University in 2014. At Cardozo Law, Michael was simultaneously the Managing Editor of the ADR Competition Honor Society and an Associate Editor for the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal. During law school, Mr. Kar earned a Certificate of Dispute Resolution from the Kukin Program for Conflict Resolution, and spent eight months interning at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Michael has been an active pro bono mediator with the New York Peace Institute since 2016.
