Igor Stolyar is an associate in gartner + bloom’s New York office where he focuses his practice on insurance defense, construction law, and premises liability.
Prior to joining gartner + bloom PC, Igor practiced law at Faust Goetz Schenker and Blee, Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell and Hippel, and the Law Office of Jamie E. Gangemi, where he obtained experience in all aspects of complex civil litigation.
Igor received his Juris Doctor degree from Touro Law School and his Bachelor of Arts degree from CUNY Baruch College. During law school, he interned for the Honorable Ellen R. Greenberg, J.S.C., Nassau County Family Court and the Honorable Leonard D. Wexler, United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Igor also interned at the immigration clinic in his law school as well as Brooklyn Defenders Services, and the Nassau County Attorney’s Office Family Court Bureau.
While in law school, Igor received awards for Exemplary Contribution to the Quality of Student Life, Touro Law Pro Bono Service Award, CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Immigration Law Clinic, and CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Rights of Children.
