Thomas Cerussi is a Complex Litigation and Trial Partner at gartner + bloom PC. He represents clients in catastrophic loss matters, construction litigation, commercial litigation, product liability, premises liability, municipal liability as well as other general liability and complex tort matters.
Thomas has over 35 years of litigation experience and has successfully achieved numerous trial victories on behalf of his clients. He is recognized for his commitment to client advocacy and has achieved an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell®, reflecting his high ethical standards and professional excellence.
Thomas earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Manhattan College in 1985 and his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University, School of Law in 1988. He is admitted to the New York and Connecticut state bars and various U.S. District Courts, including the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York and the District of Connecticut.
Thomas is an active member of several legal associations, including the Westchester County and New York State Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute, and the Council on Litigation Management. He has also been recognized and selected to Super Lawyers® for Products Liability, Personal Injury and Construction Litigation from 2007 to present. In addition to practicing law, Thomas is an avid tennis and paddle tennis player and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Darien YMCA in his hometown of Darien, Connecticut.
