James Stephens is an experienced civil litigator who has obtained numerous defense verdicts at trial as the lead attorney in every venue in both state and federal venues across New York State. James focuses his practice primarily on Labor Law as well as general liability matters, litigating high exposure and complex civil matters. He has experiance litigating a diverse civil case load including insurance coverage issues, medical malpractice, toxic torts, intentional torts, RICO Act, appeals, transportation/ trucking, declaratory judgments, products liability, Dram Shop Act, maritime law and Section 1983 claims.
In addition to his significant experience as a trial attorney, James is known for his comprehensive analysis of critical issues and assertive litigation style. Serving on the the Board of Directors for the Hellenic Lawyers Association since 2016, James had the honor of being elected as an Officer for HLA in 2022.
