Lindsey Rosenberg has practiced law in both the nonprofit and private sectors for more than fifteen years, with extensive experience in immigration law. She is a partner at Rosenberg & Pratt-Hewitt, LLP and serves as Of Counsel to the firm. Ms. Rosenberg earned her Juris Doctor from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law in 2011 and was admitted to practice in New York in 2012.
Ms. Rosenberg has extensive experience representing clients in contested administrative proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review and the Board of Immigration Appeals, as well as before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Department of State. Her practice includes litigation strategy, motion practice, appellate advocacy, removal defense, asylum, humanitarian relief, family-based immigration, and naturalization. She has successfully represented clients throughout all stages of immigration proceedings, from affirmative filings through hearings and appeals.
Before entering private practice, Ms. Rosenberg practiced with a nonprofit immigration legal services organization, where she managed a high-volume immigration practice, supervised attorneys and legal staff, developed new legal programs, and represented the organization before government agencies and community organizations. She also served as a Supervising Attorney with the New York City Asylum Application Help Center, overseeing attorneys and legal staff handling affirmative asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) matters.
In addition to her client work, Ms. Rosenberg has served in leadership roles with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), including as Secretary of the New York Chapter Media, Advocacy and Political Engagement Committee. She has authored legal publications, lectured on developments in immigration law, and participated in advocacy efforts relating to immigration policy.
