Richard “Rich” Pezzullo serves as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) where he oversees the firm’s technology infrastructure, cybersecurity strategy, communications systems, and emerging legal technology initiatives. With more than three decades of experience in technology consulting, network infrastructure, and business systems management, Rich leads the firm’s efforts to maintain secure, reliable, and efficient operations across its offices and remote workforce. His work focuses on protecting client confidentiality, improving operational resilience, and implementing practical technology solutions that support the practice of law.
Rich has extensive experience advising organizations in the areas of cybersecurity, compliance, communications, and technology modernization. His background includes work with professional services firms, healthcare organizations, and government-related environments, with a particular focus on risk management and secure systems design. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and has been actively involved in developing policies and procedures related to cybersecurity governance, remote access security, cloud services, and artificial intelligence adoption within professional environments.
A graduate of Cornell University and an officer in the United States Army Reserve, Rich brings a practical, mission-oriented approach to technology leadership. In addition to his professional work, he has remained active in civic, veterans’ and charitable organizations throughout his career. He is known for translating complex technical issues into clear, actionable guidance for attorneys, staff, and business leaders, helping bridge the gap between technology, security, and day-to-day legal operations.
