Declan O’Connor is a Construction Defect Associate /Law Clerk in our NYC office. He earned his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 2025, where he was the Symposium Editor of the New York Real Property Law Journal. Mr. O’Connor has experience in medical malpractice defense, having worked for two years at a large defense firm representing hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. He also gained legal experience at the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, where he conducted legal research and assisted in court preparation, and with the New York State United Teachers Office of General Counsel, where he focused on labor and employment law, assisting with grievance arbitrations, disciplinary hearings, and legal research. He earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Political Science and History from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in 2022.
